ENTROPY

The human race will never learn
The reaper stands at every turn
He's waiting now to take your life
Yes you are always in his sight
Technology we can't control
Risks both our bodies and our souls
We roll the dice again each day
In planes and trains and on freeways

We know that all that lives must die
But can't accept our own demise
I wonder why that man can't see
We're just the toys of entropy
But when that you've run out of time
Still disbelief will cloud your mind
It's never you it's always them
Your death eliminates this whim

We all exist on borrowed time
Your tape is rolling so is mine
And everything we say and do
Is on that tape for God to view
We never should procrastinate
Tomorrow may be much too late
Do what you need to do today
For even now time slips away
