BELL CURVE

And it came to pass, after God created the heavens and earth, he created a being in his own image
and called him Adam, meaning earthling, to till the soil in the garden of Eden.

And the Lord said: "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden, but you must not eat from the
tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it, you shall surely die."

But the Adam was ambitious, and when tempted, ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge. And when God
saw what he had done, he realized the Adam could not be trusted, and his course of action was clear.

And the Lord said: "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed
to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat and live forever. I will banish him from the garden and prevent his return."

(chorus)
I want to live forever
Don't want to burn in the fire
I want to live forever
Keep going higher and higher

I want to live forever
Don't want to burn in the fire
I want to live forever
Keep going higher and higher

I want to live forever
Don't want to burn in the fire
I want to live forever
Keep going higher and higher

I want to live forever
Don't want to burn in the fire
I want to live forever
Keep going higher and higher

And it came to pass, that when men began to multiply on the earth that the sons of God saw their daughters
and were attracted to them. And they mated with them, producing hybrid offspring, which grieved the Lord.

And the Lord said: "I will destroy man, who I have created, from off the face of the earth. Men and animals,
and creatures that move along the ground, for I am grieved that I have made them."

And the Lord sent a great flood which engulfed the earth. but Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord, for he
was just, and perfect in his generations. And because of this, his family was spared.

And after the flood, God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: "Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth."

(repeat chorus)

And it came to pass that once again men began to multiply upon the earth. And on a plain in the land of Shinar,
they began to build a city and a tower whose top would reach the heavens. And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower.

And the Lord said: "If as one people, speaking the same language, they have begun to do this, then nothing they
plan to do will be impossible for them. Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.

And the Lord scattered man across the face of the planet so that he could not complete his city or his tower. But
after thousands of years man again found a single language. The language of machines. Digital.

And the Lord said: "Surely the day is coming. It will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evil doer
will be stubble. And that day, that is coming, will set them on fire."

(repeat chorus)

And although thousands of years have passed, man's nature remains unchanged. And when he hears of lights in the sky,
or reports of of alien contact, he scoffs, for he has forgotten his history. And those who forget the lessons of history are doomed to repeat them.

And Jesus said: "As it was in the days of Noah, so it shall be at the coming of the son of man. Therefore keep watch,
because you do not know on what day your Lord will come."

And today, man is no closer to understanding his place in creation than he was in the garden of Eden. And once again,
he has built a city and a tower. And once again, he is prepared to scale heaven.
